Jeff Sipos serves as Clarion’s General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer, bringing more than two decades of experience across the finance, insurance, capital markets, and legal industries.
Jeff served in legal leadership roles and as General Counsel in two private equity-backed global specialty insurance businesses. In these roles, Jeff oversaw the legal functions in all high-impact areas including M&A, litigation, governance, investor relations, regulatory compliance, human resources, and equity compensation. He was one of a small group that took one of these companies public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2019.
Jeff began his career at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Locke Lord LLP, where he specialized in general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and acquisition finance, often with a focus on insurance or private equity. Following his law firm experience, Jeff served as a Vice President at KBC Financial Products and for several years previously worked at Clarion on fund formation, insurance investing, and fundraising. Jeff earned a double B.A. in Political Science and Journalism at the University of Maryland, and his J.D. at the Emory University School of Law.
