Clarion Capital Partners Welcomes Bryan Kelley To Investor Relations and Fundraising Team

NEW YORK, February 14, 2023—Clarion Capital Partners, LLC is pleased to announce that Bryan Kelley has joined its investor relations and fundraising team as Managing Director of Investor Relations. Bryan brings 20 years of experience in private equity and credit markets as a pension consultant, in-house business developer, and capital raiser. During his career, he has focused on sales and relationship management with a broad range of U.S. institutional investors, including public and private pension plans, insurance companies, endowments and foundations, family offices, fund of funds managers, and consultants.

“We are thrilled that Bryan is joining Clarion. He’ll add new investor relationships and substantial capacity as we continue to grow our business,” said Doug Mellinger, Clarion’s Managing Director and Head of Marketing, Fundraising, and Business Development.

Clarion and Bryan have maintained a close professional relationship which is over ten years old. Beginning in 2012, NovaFund Advisors, a firm Bryan co-founded, served as Clarion’s placement agent for its highly successful second fund, Clarion Investors II, L.P.

Bryan began his private markets career at Wilshire Associates, a U.S. pension consulting and investment management firm, where he assisted clients in committing to more than 20 private equity, debt, and venture capital managers. He moved to Merrill Lynch to serve as a Director in private funds advisory and next worked for Deutsche Bank as Managing Director of the alternatives funds group before leaving to launch his own firm in 2004.

During his 15 years as a Principal and Managing Director at NovaFund Advisors, Bryan originated new business; assisted private equity, private credit, and real asset managers in go-to-market preparations; and was responsible for U.S. institutional sales, primarily covering West coast investors. Under his leadership, the firm raised more than $6 billion in committed capital. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at Azimut Alternative Capital Partners in the Affiliate Development Team, where he was responsible for raising capital for private equity, credit, and real asset managers with East Coast institutional investors.

Bryan earned his B.A. at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, and his M.B.A. at the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business.
