Acquisition Creates Leading Hispanic Media Platform

JANUARY 5, 2009 (New York, NY), Cross MediaWorks announces the acquisition of assets of the Hispanic Independent Television Sales (HITS). HITS will be the fifth media services company operating under the parent company, Cross MediaWorks.

HITS was formed in 2007 to provide national ad sales representation to independent Hispanic Television stations and networks, helping them capitalize on advertisers’ growing interest in reaching a burgeoning consumer segment.

Marc Krigsman, CEO of Cross MediaWorks, believes the acquisition is a perfect fit with Cross MediaWorks’ mission; “It is our desire to continue to expand the media foundation of our business which will allow us to provide a competitive advantage to our clients as we continue to build our presence as a corporation in the Hispanic marketplace. While we have been operating in this arena, this transaction allows all parties to flourish in this ever-growing media market.”

Cross MediaWorks Chief Operating Officer, Larry Rubin, says that this acquisition reinforces the old phrase that there is strength in numbers. “We are thrilled to welcome HITS and its valued clients to the Cross MediaWorks family. Beginning today, our clients should expect a bigger, better, stronger and more influential HITS than they’ve known before because of our companies’ combined experience and talent. This is just a terrific opportunity for everyone even in the midst of the difficult economic times that this country is facing. Our HITS clients should rest assured that great things are on the horizon because of this new relationship.”

Cross MediaWorks, Inc., is a leading multi-platform media services firm that manages an array of media on a targeted and measured basis.
